SCHOOL SESSION
The academic session is in two terms:
1st TERM : April - October
2nd TERM : November - March
EXAMINATION SCHEDULE
1st TERMINAL EXAMINATION - October
2nd TERMINAL EXAMINATION - March
Our School follows the following test and examination pattern:
1. Periodic Test – 25 Marks (1st and 2nd term)
2. Term Examination – 75 Marks (1st and 2nd term)
Final Result will be calculated as the average of two terms
Promotion Rules:-
Classes I to V
If a student fails in more than two subjects ( English, Arabic, Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, Kuwait Social Studies, Islamiyat, Holy Quran, Computer, French ) or secures less than 40% on the aggregate he/she will not be eligible for promotion.
Grade VI to VIII
In any one of the following cases the student will not be eligible for promotion.

A student who fails either in Mathematics or English.

A student who fails in any two of the mentioned subjects i.e. , Science, Arabic, Social Studies, Kuwait Social Studies, Islamiyat, Computer, French, Holy Quran.

A student who secures less than 40% on the annual aggregate.
EXAMINATION

Students absent from a test / exam, for any reason will not be re-examined. Absence in a test / exam will be treated as having received no marks in it.
2. If a student fails to appear at a test / exam (except the annual) on genuine grounds the case may be considered on its merits at the time of
promotion.
3. A student who fails to appear in the annual examination will not be considered for promotion.
4. In matters of promotion and decision of the school is final.
Reasons for Exam Cancellations

Cheating

Talking, making a noise or disturbing other students in any way.

Turning around and communicating with other students.
Cancellation Consequences
-
The Co-ordinator will put a line through all pages completed and sign it. The time and reason for the cancellation will be indicated on the exam paper.

The student will be awarded a Zero’ mark and it will be recorded on the student’s report.

Parents of the student will be informed.
